Future Opening: Stocking & Merchandising Associate
Full Time • Columbus
Panel Town & Floors is looking for an energetic and passionate team player to add to our staff. The Stocking & Merchandise Associate will receive and stock all merchandise at the store.
Stocking & Merchandise Associate Responsibilities Include:
- Restock and rotate shelves with appropriate products
- Replenishes stock on the sales floor as needed throughout the day
- Performs daily cleaning tasks in store and warehouse before leaving
- Organizes inventory in the store and warehouse as instructed
- Maintains an accurate inventory of all things in the stock warehouse
- Accurately identifies and pulls the Stock List from the warehouse
- Assists in receiving and unloading shipments at the store and warehouse(s)
- Check items received against Order Acknowledgment and/or Purchase Order. Investigate discrepancies and report to inventory manager
- Unpacks merchandise in the store and warehouse(s) and puts away in appropriate locations.
- Identifies items that have “Low Stock” or are out and provide information to inventory manager
- Pulls defective or expired items from shelf and provides to inventory manager for review
- Reports issues and/or problems to inventory manager and/or store manager
- Assist inventory manager with tasks as required, such as, pricing, labeling, location changes, counting, etc.
- Must be able to use RF scanners
- Must be able to use Windows and Excel
- Overtime required as needed***
Pay and Hours:
- 40-45 hours during the week
- 8am-5pm M-F
- $16-$18/hour
Stocking & Merchandise Associate Requirements Include:
- Driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Clean driving record
- Must submit a drug test
- Close attention to detail
- Highly motivated individual
- Be able to consistently lift, carry, push and pull an average of 50-100 pounds.
- Forklift experience preferred, but not required
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
